East End Health
East End Health is a registered health charity, based in Byker, which works across Newcastle and the surrounding area. Their aim is to tackle health inequalities and has two primary focuses.

The Food and Nutrition project works with children from preschool to secondary school age to bring about positive changes in terms of school food and children's awareness of food and nutrition issues. Current projects include:
- Smoothie Bar project
- Free Fruit and Organic Milk schemes
- School Food Children's Panel
- Nursery Milk scheme
- Fruit and Vegetable Bag scheme
- Students into Schools - Nutrition Education scheme
- Educational Farm Visits

The Healthy Ageing project aims to provide opportunities for individuals with physical and mental health problems and those at risk of social isolation to improve their health and wellbeing. Current projects include the:
- Women's Art group
- Out and About Stroke group
- Complementary Therapy project.
