Commission for Racial Equality
The Commission for Racial Equality aim to eliminate racial discrimination. We are a statutory body set up under the Race Relations Act and one of our functions is to keep this Act under review. Our work includes promoting good race relations in society and at work.
We provide advice, publications and leaflets and investigate cases of racial discrimination. Race Equality Councils are based in most major towns and cities.
