Search Project offers an information, advice and welfare benefits service to people of pension age and their carers who live in inner west Newcastle.
The service aims to ensure that they know about and are making the most of any financial help to which they are entitled, including pension credits, disability allowance, etc.
Search provides a confidential drop-in advice session Monday to Thursday 10am to 1pm at 74 Adelaide Terrace. Home visits can be arranged for people unable to leave the house.
Search also provides a range of community health activities for people aged 50+ in inner west Newcastle, including walking groups, exercise classes, aquafit, complementary therapies and leisure/learning groups including IT, local history and creative activities.
